Mother’s Day tells the short stories of a wide spectrum of matriarchs struggling with all the problems that make every day difficult… let alone Mother’s Day. The film pays heartfelt (though often over-the-top and melocomedic) honour to mothers. However, it does have some admirable things to say about moms and rightly recognises the hugely important role they play in shaping their children’s lives.
